Turning Pointe Studio

Classes begin September 7th with Karla Eull!  Come and enjoy the fine art of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theater, and Hip-hop while fulfilling ARTS/PE requirements for homeschoolers.

We have a 4000sf space with two studios and lobby for parents.  Classroom space is limited so sign up soon!

These classes meet ARTS/PE requirements set by the state for Home School students.

Karla Eull (Artistic Director of the studio) invites you to attend one of the open houses where you
can visit with a staff member and see the studio. 
The studio is located at 4101 Nicols Rd. in Eagan; and the open houses are scheduled for on
Aug 10, Aug 19th, and Sep 21st from 4:30-8:30.  You may register for the fall session at any of these open house events. You may also register by emailing us at info@turningpointestudio.com and requesting a registration form.

Finally, they are continuing the offer they made last year - if you say that

All classes are on Tuesday afternoons. All teaching is provided by our 
talented staff of degreed, professional instructors. Dancers in this 
program will have an informal showing at the end of each session

Fall 1 session runs from September 7-October 19:

Creative Dance: Tuesday, 12:30pm - 1:15pm;
$66/session
Dance for children ages 3 up to 5. Explores music,  
movements from which all dance developed, imagination and coordination. 
Girls in this class should wear pink ballet shoes (not from Target) and 
any color leotard and tights. Boys should wear a t-shirt or sweatshirt, 
sweat shorts, bike shorts or sweat pants, and black ballet shoes (not 
from Target).

Recreational Dance for 5-7 year olds
Tuesday, 12:30pm - 1:30pm, $78/session
Dance for children ages 5-6 or for those
who have successfully completed Creative Dance.
Introduction to basic ballet terms, steps, positions and techniques.
Tap and jazz steps and combinations as well as choreography!

Tap/Jazz  7-9 year olds:
 Tuesday, 1:30pm - 2:30 pm, $88/session
Training for children ages 7-9 or for those who have
successfully completed the fundamental level, or by instructor permission.
 Students will begin building strength, developing proper alignment, and a
better understanding of basic dance elements.

Jazz/Tap 10-12 year olds:
Tuesday, 2:30pm - 3:30pm, $88/session
Teaching for children ages 10-12 or for those who have
mastered the requirements of Level I-or by instructor permission.
Students should have a solid understanding of dance terms, techniques and steps. Strength and 
alignment continues to be encouraged in each of the dancers! Students will be expected to grasp 
more difficult concepts.

Fall 1 session runs from September 7-October 19:

Fall 2 session runs from October 26-December 14 (No class November 23).
Winter 1 session runs from January 4-February 8;
Winter 2 session runs from February 15-March 29 (No class the week of 
March 22).
Spring session1 runs from April 5-May 10.
Spring sesson 2 runs from May 11- July 2.
Summer session runs from July 10-August 30
